On 1st May Sardinia celebrates the festival of Sant Efis, one of the most important religious and folkloristic events in Sardinia, which has now become international. Every year since 1652 a colourful procession of carriages, knights and faithful accompany the statue of Sant Efisio from Cagliari to Nora, the final stage of the procession. A journey of over 80 km on foot that unites faithful from all over Sardinia. The celebration takes place every year from 1st to 4th May, Hotel Costa dei Fiori is a starting point for the discovery of this tradition.
